What is Local Affiliate Marketing Marketing?
Local affiliate marketing is using your marketing/sales skills to help local “brick and mortar” businesses in your area to generate more sales, leads, and gain more customers.
Essential you could call local affiliate marketing “offline affiliate marketing” because for the simple fact that you dealing with offline, physical businesses as oppose to a virtual internet business.Even though you will be using your online marketing sales skills to help them but it all goes in the offline affiliate marketing category.
There tons of local businesses waiting to work with marketers like me and you. For the simple fact that businesses big or small has big budgets to pay anyone or anything that will them grow and make more money.
Local businesses are willing to pay you to send them leads, provide your SEO services, and Provide your Social Media services. Its just a matter of knowing what you can offer these businesses, what you can do for them that will work.

This is Why Local Affiliate Marketing Works so well
The United States is going through a recession, but performance based businesses such as affiliate networks are generating and reporting all-time record profits.
I’m wondering “why” why are these affiliate networks making so much money in such a bad economic state. It’s simple really big companies and small companies have an unlimited money budget for anything that helps them make more money.
In other words companies set a lot of money aside for things that help them get a High Positive “ROI” yep a high positive “Return On Investment”
Let’s say for every $10 a company pay you, they make a profit of $100. You do not need to be a genius to see why companies put so much money aside to do this.
Companies would be dumb not to use this strategy. Let’s look at this model on a local level Examining a large Insurance Firm.
- Option #1: You have a sales team of 150 people that make on average $60,000 per year. This means you have a pay roll of $9 million dollars a year to pay for sales team.
- Option #2: You have a sales force of 150 people that make 15% commission and $40,000 per year. This means you have a payroll of $6 million dollars a year along with their commission.
- Option #3: You have every one in the city willing to work for you, and you only have to pay them if they generate a sale.
- Now off course you already know every company will go with option #3 if they could.
Businesses are catching up with this model it’s only a matter of time before every company start implementing option #3.
My best advice to you is to start and act on this opportunity now, get your self established in the local affiliate marketing niche, whether its providing SEO Services, sending leads, or helping local businesses build their brands to social media.
I know you have certain skills that will benefit these businesses in your local area, you just have to have enough commitment and dedication to turn them into a profit

Yea, i share the same interest with you on this offline stuff, I’ve also written a blog post on my blog before on this same concept.
Most internet marketers these days are not aware of this. I’m already benefiting from it though. Since I’m good in blog design, I’ve been doing it for most companies now and will be going into in fully soon.

everybody has been going after internet related stuff which has created void in the offline business. as you mentioned, offline businesses are ready to spend and as everybody is focusing on online business, there is much lesser level of competition in the offline market. Off course, market is limited but if one try to pursue things in correct order, it can generate great results. Thanks for bringing to attention towards it.
